The Greensburg Hempfield Area Library invites you to come and enjoy our
new FAMILY PLAY SPACE. You and your children can engage in fun and
creative play through puppets, toys, puzzles and blocks of all types. The
FAMILY PLAY SPACE is made possible by a grant from The Michael J. and
Aimee Rusinko Kakos Foundation and Westmoreland Community

READ!
The Greensburg Hempfield Area Library and our branch, The
Youngwood Area Library, invite you to join in Summer Reading
Club fun starting in June. GET IN THE GAME! and ON YOUR
MARK, GET SET, READ! are our themes. The Kickoff Event will be
Thursday, June 9, at 10 a.m. at St. Clair Park in Greensburg. The
exciting “HT High Flyers,” a jump rope troupe out of Ligonier,
will present the entertainment! A host of programs for ages
birth through 16 will be offered at both libraries for eight weeks
beginning June 13 through Aug. 4. See the Event Calendar at

approaches. Join the Summer Reading Clubs where you can
win prizes for time spent reading! And you won’t want to miss
the exciting and active programs around our sports and fitness
theme. All programs are free.

Make-It-Take-It Crafts – Tuesdays through May 31 from 3 to 4:45 p.m.
Ages 3-11.
Music and Movement – Saturday, May 21, at 10:30 a.m.
Ages Toddler to Preschool with an adult. Enjoy 45 minutes of songs,
rhymes and finger plays, musical instruments and rhythm and
parachute time.
Make-It-Take-It Memorial Day Crafts – Saturday, May 21, at 2 p.m.
All ages. Bring your family to make some festive Memorial Day
decorations!
