music that’s a little less familiar to Western
audiences and no less amazing: the music
of India’s Bollywood. This concert will
reacquaint you with old favorites by John
Williams, Ennio Morricone and Danny
Elfman, but also introduce you to the
spicy sounds of “Meera Joota Hai Japani,”
“Jai Ho,” and “Badtameez Dil,” sung by
Akshay Hari. Visit the website for more

‘Outside Mullingar’ by Apple
Hill Playhouse
Dates: Starting Sept. 5
Address: 275 Manor Road, Delmont
Contact: applehillplayhouse.org
Anthony Reilly and Rosemary Muldoon
have grown up next to each other on two
farms in rural Ireland. Rosemary fell in
love with Anthony at the age of 6, and is
convinced that he will eventually be with
her. Anthony had his heart broken as a
young man, and hasn’t dared open it to
another woman since. Forty years later,
the two of them are still neighbors. With
a small land feud happening between
the two families, it seems unlikely that a
romance will ever happen. Rosemary’s
determination, however, may change that
yet. Visit the website for more information
on purchasing tickets and other details.
