Every October, kids and adults love to discover what goes BUMP in
the night in Frick Park! The annual Bump in the Night is a fun family
event celebrating fall. Each year, parents and children ages 3 to 10 are
invited to visit Frick Park for an evening of non-spooky activities that
they can do together. Go on a night hike, see and learn about nocturnal
animals, carve a pumpkin, take part in a sing-a-long and much more!
Top off the night with refreshments and cookies before you head home
with your carved pumpkin. Registration is required. Visit the website

Ghost Stories told by Alan Irvine

Come and listen to some DEFINITELY scary and creepy
stories told by Alan Irvine, well-known storyteller, founder of the
storytelling group StorySwap, and two-time winner of the Three
Rivers Storytelling Festival Liars Contest. This event is NOT for young

Haunted History Hayride at Bushy Run Battlefield

Experience the battlefield in a whole new perspective at night!
Guided hay wagons take visitors back in time as they stop along the
trail where re-enactors portray 18th century characters. But beware!
Ghosts and goblins are lurking in the woods and are too scary for those
children under the age of 4. Admission includes entry to the Visitor
Center and gift shop. There will be concessions available, as well as
ghost stories in the Stone Room. Note: Reservations to be taken after

Hobgoblin Hikes at Mammoth and Northmoreland

Recommended for ages 8 and older, the Hobgoblin Hikes are half-
mile outdoor guided walks through the haunted woods of Mammoth
and Northmoreland parks. Visitors can expect to be led through
mazes and cemeteries, and past more than 100 ghouls, goblins and
monsters. The hikes are offered to provide a safe family alternative to
conventional trick-or-treating. Parents are encouraged to attend with

Irwin Ghost Walk

In the fall, Lonesome Valley Farms hosts one of the area’s top
haunted attractions—the Haunted Hayride with Maze Trail and the
Slotter Farm House and Barn. It also hosts a huge 5-plus-acre non-
haunted “Get Lost” Corn Maze. For more kid-friendly Halloween fun,
there is Pumpkin Patch Playland. The Midway has a concession stand,

Oakmont Halloween Hustle 5K

Trunk or Treat at the Library
