The boys are currently winding down a strong winter campaign with Alex Siaton leading the way in the sprints and Riley Casey in the distance events. Alex set three new school records this winter in the 200 meter, 300 meter, and 400 meter runs. He should be a force in the sprints within the Ches-Mont League and District I. Underclassman Brendan DeSantis, Gusty Bandari, Justin Boclair, and David Stevence will be stepping up along with Alex into varsity roles in the sprints. Riley has also had a strong winter season by winning the mile at the Bullis Speed Invitational with a state qualifying time. Juniors Michael Search and Pierce Nolan have joined Alex and Riley in the distance medley relay and are currently ranked #9 in the state. The varsity distance core will be rounded out with Juniors Matthew Dietrick and Max Miller and Sophomores Jake Zielinski and Patrick Hanlon. Sophomore Drake Vitale is looking to improve upon his strong winter season in the high jump where he qualified for the Meet of Champs. Our squad is looking forward to Ches-Mont competition and invitational opportunities while developing a strong young team. GREAT VALLEY  S P R ING 2020 25
