Clubs adopt technology
More than 80 percent of District 9980 clubs now have their own ClubRunner
website and are learning how to use it to support administration and let the
community know what they’re up to.
Are you up with the latest tools, efficiencies and app?
Got the ClubRunner app?
To be honest, the original ClubRunner app was less than ideal. Good news!
An updated – and much improved – app is now available for Android and
iOS. I’ve been using the Android app, and it’s a huge step up. You’ll find
details and download links here: https://goo.gl/NNg7gu
With this new app, you’re able to:
• View the most up-to-date member directory
• Browse member profiles to get contact information and
connect with just one click
• Make a call to any member’s phone number
• Email members directly from your phone
• Add members to your contacts list
• View upcoming events from your club events calendar
• Read the most recent stories from your club website
Records up to date – everywhere – in one go:
Updating membership records on your own ClubRunner website, or on
the district website, automatically updates both your records with Rotary
International (RI) and with District 9980.
Clubs with their own ClubRunner website can update records on their
club website.
Clubs that don’t have a ClubRunner website can update membership
records directly on the District 9980 website. (The president, president-elect,
secretary and treasurer have automatic access to make these changes on
the district website).
• When you add a new club member to ClubRunner, it automatically
notifies Rotary International of the new member and creates a member
record with RI.
