A MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT
Dear Fox Chapel Area Community,
Though the end of the school year is always filled with excitement, I find myself reflecting on the growth, memories, and meaningful moments that made this journey together so special. Each day was driven by purpose, fueled by passion, supported by care, and strengthened by an incredible sense of community that defines who we are as a school district.
The end of the school year certainly means some time off for many in our school community. It also means, though, that our students have gained another year of academic and life experiences. They have dealt with obstacles and have persevered through them. They have also grown in myriad ways, and not just academically. I think of the support that has been provided to them by our staff members and the guidance given by their families. I think about the successes that our students have experienced throughout another year of education here in the Fox Chapel Area School District, knowing that it looks different for every student. For some, success can be placing in an art competition, or hitting a three-pointer. For others, it’ s acing a test or volunteering to make their community a better place. For yet some others, it can simply be coming to school and making a new friend.
As another school year comes to a close, I also find myself thinking about the history of the district. I am so proud of everything we have accomplished in our time together. We have built upon a rich tradition and foundation paved by those who came before us. I’ d like to think that they are proud, too.
I want to again thank everyone and congratulate them on a job well done! Your efforts have helped our students to learn, grow, and prepare for their futures. I am proud to see your support of our district’ s strategic vision pillars of purpose, passion, care, and community. Thank you for elevating our core values of respect, responsibility, and integrity.
To our newest retirees, thank you for your service. You have touched countless lives through your work, and the district is a better place because of you! We will miss you, and we hope you know that you will always be part of the Fox Chapel Area School District community.
I wish everyone a summer filled with health, happiness, rest, and renewal. I’ m already looking forward to all we will accomplish together in the 2025-2026 school year!
