The front door and the path leading up to it should extend a warm welcome. The path should be manicured with an unobstructed view, weed free, have the lawn edged, and have no stumbling hazards. Freshen up the door with a new stain or glossy paint or clean the glass to ensure your door is smudge free. Polish the handle and locks or replace them if they are corroded.
