Verona on Arch Street, which was also
known as Boathouse Row before the
flood of 1936 wiped out all but three of
the boats clubs along this section of the
Allegheny River.
As a club, it offers many programs to
the public—some free and others for
a small fee. Members and participants
in the group’s programs come from all
over the region.

Jane Herrmann, recipient of the
Chairman’s Circle Platinum award for
over $700,000 in GCI, moved from
England with her family to Fox Chapel
many years ago and has raised three
children—Riley, Matt and Haley—in
the borough. She has been a Realtor
for almost 20 years, is embedded in
the community, and is a member of
the Fox Chapel Golf Club. In her spare
time, she enjoys golf, tennis, paddle
tennis and working out.
Lynn Niman, recipient of the
