H. W. Acupuncture Clinic Natural, Proven Pain and Stress Relief
For thousands of years, acupuncture has been providing patients with drug-free and natural pain relief in Asian countries. And while its proven relief has been widely accepted overseas, it has only been getting more and more popular in the U. S. for the past 50 years.
For Wei Hu, owner of H. W. Acupuncture Clinic in Oakmont, the adoption of acupuncture locally couldn’ t have come at a better time.
“ Acupuncture is a powerful tool for pain and stress management and can be a natural alternative to pain medications, many of which are responsible for the current opioid addiction epidemic,” she said.“ More and more health organizations are issuing guidelines and recommendations for pain relief treatment involving non-drug approaches first, with opioids being a last resort.”
Wei is an experienced acupuncturist certified by the state of Pennsylvania, and has been practicing for more than a decade, starting out in China after graduating from the Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, which is recognized worldwide for its acupuncture program. After earning her second master’ s degree from the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh, Wei delightfully offers the holistic healing to her clients by integrating the up-to-date knowledge with the traditional Chinese medical theory.
