Students work that was on display included Reece Basehore, Gracie Carothers, Sarah Kosakowski, Corin Trejchel, Emma Perdue, Amelia Reese, Isabella Moosa, Lauren George, Paige Biordi, Kelsey Gianfrancesco, Liz Koromaus, Angelina Kennedy, Elizabeth Linton, Erin Piotrowski, Jack Reynolds and Blake Mercer. All students were under the direction of Jason Woolslare, Jason Shorr and Megan Bonistailli, senior high school art teachers. SV INTERACT CLUB HELPS LOCAL FAMILIES ‘LEST WE FORGET’ Warren Goss, a World War II veteran and D-Day survivor, posed for a picture with Seneca Valley Middle School students after he visited with the students on Tuesday, Nov. 7. Goss spent over an hour fielding questions from students regarding his wartime experiences. According to Kate Wilson, teacher, he offered a unique perspective that “intrigued, fascinated and enlightened all who listened.” As a show of appreciation, the eighth graders presented him with a card acknowledging and honoring him for his incredible sacrifice and dedication to our country during his service. 46 724.942.0940 TO ADVERTISE | Cranberry Meal baskets for 40 Seneca Valley families in need were created from donations given by Seneca Valley Senior High School and Intermediate High School faculty, as well as members of the Cranberry Sunrise, Cranberry Noon, and Zelienople Rotary Clubs. When the SV Interact Club decided to move forward with this project, they had hoped to make about four baskets. Having the ability to now help dozens has given the group another reason to be thankful this holiday season. SV Interact Club student members include Glen Schum, Kat Yellin, Alexis Musthaler, Ben Hess and Faith Condrick. The group is advised by Natalie Green, senior high school teacher.
