CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP ROTARY CLUBS HELP‘ GREEN’ THE COMMUNITY
The Cranberry Township Sunrise Rotary Club and Noon Rotary Club are contributing to the township’ s effort to“ green” the community. Members of the clubs gathered on June 28 to plant four Japanese Ivory Silk Lilac trees along the Brush Creek Trail in Graham Park. According to township officials, the trees are one more step toward enhancing the popular trails that are frequented by bicyclists and pedestrians.
The Rotary Clubs in Cranberry Township are among 33,000 that are active across 200 countries. Locally, the clubs help fund initiatives at Voice, Gleaner’ s Food Bank, the Cranberry Township Community Chest and dictionary and scholarship programs for local students.
