INDUSTRY INSIGHT REAL ESTATE SPONSORED CONTENT Fall Home Selling Tips The Fall real estate market is still a strong market. This is a time when buyers are back from vacations, school is in session and the holidays are not yet upon us. If you are thinking about listing your home or if it’s already on the market take a look at these Fall Seller Tips and be sure your home commands the Fall Buyer’s attention. Have you taken a walk to your curb lately? Take a close look at your home from a buyer’s viewpoint. Chances are these hot & humid summer days may have wreaked havoc on your curb appeal. Trim overgrown shrubs and trees and then add splashes of fall color with potted fall flowers, pumpkins and other fall decorations. Pay careful attention to not over-do-it. You don’t want your decorations to distract the buyer’s eye from you home! Keep up the mowing! Use the mower like a vacuum to clean up the leaves! Now is not the time to stop or delay mowing the grass. Professionals say if you raised the height of your lawn mower in summer to reduce heat stress to your lawn, return the mower deck to its normal mowing height. Cutting your lawn slightly shorter in autumn helps prevent the grass from matting down under leaves and snow. Remember the front door. Add a fall wreath for a splash of color. The front door is the fist thing a prospective buyer will see. Make sure your front door is looking its best. Inspect to see if it needs painted, cleaned or even replaced. Make a statement!
