A WOODVILLE CHRISTMAS
Woodville is hosting a beautiful Christmas event on Sunday, Dec. 14. The evening includes the Christmas Service of Lessons and Carols at Old St. Luke’ s, followed by candlelight tours at Woodville exploring the 18th century customs of celebrating the season, including the observance and festivities of Twelfth Night.
Though guided house tours of Woodville are unavailable until April, you can take a self-guided tour of the grounds and see the exterior of the historical home anytime during daylight hours.
Woodville is always looking for volunteers who are dedicated to the preservation of this unique site. Donations can also help with the special care and maintenance of the Nevilles’ 18th century home, and ensure that there are wonderful events throughout the year that both educate and celebrate its history.
