If you want service with a smile, come make a good serve on our pickleball courts! From Monday through Friday and from 8:00 a. m. to 11:00 a. m., Community Center members and Silver Sneakers members can rally around our pickleball courts for free. Not a member? Not a problem! For a $ 5 drop-in fee for non-members, you can join in the fun too. All participants are guaranteed half-court play, with full-court play subject to day-today availability— with a sport this popular, we need all the room we can get!

On behalf of all our staff and volunteers at the Township, we would like to wish our readers and residents a happy holiday season! 2025 was a year with a lot of big changes, both inside Collier Township and outside, and we hope everyone gets to enjoy their holidays and has a smooth transition into the new year. We’ d love to share our holiday spirit with you through some of our events at the Collier Community Center.*
Senior Activities
Tuesdays are seniors’ days at the Community Center! If you’ re looking for a fun place to meet with fellow seniors when you have a bit of extra time on your hands, we host a wide variety of programs for interested senior citizens every month. For free activities, on the first Tuesday of every month we host a book club meeting at 10:30 a. m. for all our senior bookworms, and on the fourth Tuesday of every month we host a game day from 1 p. m to 3 p. m. If bingo is more your game, for a $ 5 fee you can join us on the third Tuesday of every month for some morning bingo from 10 a. m. to 12 p. m Or if you’ d like to join some friends for lunch, then say no more! We host a Senior Luncheon on the second Tuesday of the month from 12 p. m. to 2 p. m. Pre-registration is required for the luncheon as there is a maximum capacity of 50 attendees, and the cost to attend is $ 7.
Winter is here and the fun is just beginning! While the snow is falling outside, bring your kids on inside for a point shot at our basketball program! We have two leagues available this year: Recreational, for individuals who can be randomly drafted into teams, and School Division, for premade team rosters. If you’ re looking for a place where your child can learn the value of teamwork and communication while enjoying a friendly competitive sport, then don’ t delay— sign up today! These programs take place at the Collier Community Center.
