King Orthodontics:
Celebrating 50 Years of Confident Smiles
When Dr. Earle King started King Orthodontics in 1976, he had no way of knowing that 50 years later he would be working alongside his son, continuing his legacy of creating“ Pittsburgh’ s most confident smiles.” But today King Orthodontics is just that, a second-generation familyowned business with a focus on families and their orthodontic care.
Dr. King first opened King Orthodontics in 1976 in the Murray Building shortly after he returned to the area following his military service. Raised in Pittsburgh’ s North Hills area, Dr. King set out to establish a practice that focused on state-of-the-art technology and personalized patient care. In the mid 1980’ s, he relocated his growing practice down the road to a custom-built stand-alone building on Perry Highway. That building still serves as the practice’ s Wexford location.
In 2006 Dr. King welcomed his son, Dr. Bryan King, to the practice. Dr. Bryan King is a graduate of University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine where he received his Masters of Periodontics prior to entering the orthodontic field. Over the next two decades, the practice marked substantial growth, adding locations and an associate doctor. This allowed the practice to better serve patients of the Greater Pittsburgh area, not just the North Hills.
There is no question that over the past 50 years King Orthodontics has become synonymous with quality patient care and cutting-edge technology. The practice was one of the first in the country to offer
Invisalign, the wildly popular alternative to traditional braces. With over 20,000 confident smiles using Invisalign, King Orthodontics remains one of the Pittsburgh area’ s leading providers of Invisalign.

Dr. Earle King and Dr. Bryan King are Board Certified Specialists in Orthodontics and members of the American Association of Orthodontics. Dr. Bryan King is also on faculty at Seton Hill University’ s Orthodontic Residency program.
