In January 2009 , that dream became reality as Sam purchased Hickory Heights Golf Club and began working alongside his son , Sam Depe , IV .

Hickory Heights Golf Shop is a fully stocked golf shop and offers everything to meet your golfing needs . The highly qualified professionals are trained in custom club fitting , and in 2017 the shop launched the TrackMan system for fitting the beginner , intermediate and advanced player . Brand offerings include Titleist , Srixon , Taylor Made , Bridgestone , Ping , Foot Joy and Adidas , to name a few . The entire inventory of equipment is available to both members and the general public .
Hickory Heights was one of the first area courses with the new state-of-theart Visage GPS system . According to the club , Visage is a great tool to help golfers play the course and fully enjoy their round and has been indispensable . The pace of play has improved , and the direct communication between the clubhouse and golfers on the course solves issues before they become problems . The GPS HD touchscreen shows detailed hole images , yardage and live scoring .
