OUR LADY OF GRACE CATHOLIC SCHOOL HOSTS
ANNUAL DINNER AUCTION
Our Lady of Grace Catholic School in Scott Township hosted its annual dinner auction,
“Cruise Aboard the S.S. Grace,” on Saturday evening, April 2, at the Hyatt Regency,
Pittsburgh International Airport.
“Cruise passengers” supported Catholic education when they set sail on this fabulous,
fun-filled evening of fine dining, dancing, and bidding on hundreds of treasures from land
and sea ranging from $10 to thousands of dollars in value. The huge silent auction/cocktail
hour was followed by dinner and a live auction of more treasures, many of which were
handmade by the students of Our Lady of Grace. Passengers then took their sea legs to the
dance floor for the remainder of the cruise, until the captain returned to the Hyatt port for
debarkation.
Established in 1954, Our Lady of Grace Catholic School — for students in pre-school
through grade 8 — provides a foundation of Gospel values, service to the community
and academic excellence through instruction and example in order to foster a spirit of
hopefulness and goodwill to others. The popular annual dinner auction is the school’s
largest fundraiser of the year.
