It was established by Mary Pitcher in honor of her sons, Vincent and Stephen, who died tragically in 2008. The surrounding Carnegie Park includes a dog park, ball field and picnic shelters, and a mini-golf course is nearby. Featuring many amenities for all ages and interests, it includes a pond, over three miles of walking/ hiking trails, an amphitheater, updated playground, splash pad, multiple fields and courts, and pavilions. A gazebo, miles of walking trails, Fleur de Lune Garden, Georgian-style home, Carriage House and 1800s log home are featured on the site. Concerts and events are often held in the park as well.
