WEST HILLS SYMPHONIC BAND HOSTS GOLDEN
ANNIVERSARY CONCERT
A concert to commemorate 50 years of bringing music to the west suburbs of Pittsburgh
was hosted by the West Hills Symphonic Band at its Golden Anniversary Concert at the
Montour High School auditorium.
As a tribute to the past, the 80-member band played a repeat performance of its first 1967
program followed by a reception.
The band presents formal concerts on Sundays at 3 p.m. in October, December, March
and May at West Allegheny High School.
Admission is always free to the public, with donations accepted. For more information,
