History buffs and families alike enjoyed
a walk back in time to an important event
in our nation’s history at the 10th Annual
Civil War Living History Day at Andrew
Carnegie Free Library and Music Hall,
located on Beechwood Avenue in Carnegie.
Focusing on the founding of the Grand
Army of the Republic in 1866, the event
featured tours of Chartiers Cemetery
and the Captain Thomas Espy Post,
demonstrations by re-enactors, a Victorian
tea and more.
