Students Take Part in Inspiring NFL & Special Olympics Clinic
Carlynton students recently participated in an unforgettable clinic that brought together top NFL Draft prospects and Special Olympics athletes for a unique and inclusive experience. The event provided students with the opportunity to take part in hands-on football drills while working alongside elite athletes, creating an atmosphere of teamwork, encouragement, and fun.
Throughout the clinic, students had the chance to meet 17 of the top NFL Draft prospects for 2026, gaining insight into the dedication and hard work required to compete at the highest level. Participants included Arvell Reese, Jeremiyah Love, Sonny Styles, Rueben Bain Jr., David Bailey, Caleb Downs, Mansoor Delane, Carnell Tate, Dillon Thieneman, Makai Lemon, Jordyn Tyson, Keldric Faulk, Kadyn Proctor, Kayden McDonald, Colton Hood, Francis Mauigoa, and Ty Simpson.
In addition to working with these standout athletes, students also had the opportunity to meet several distinguished guests, including Dan Rooney and Roger Goodell, as well as connect with professionals from the NFL and Special Olympics. Social media personality Kickball Dad was also in attendance, adding to the excitement of the day.
The clinic was more than just a chance to practice football skills— it was an engaging, inclusive, and meaningful experience for all involved. Students not only enjoyed the activities, but also benefited from the sense of connection and encouragement that came from participating in such a well-organized and high-profile event.
This memorable experience highlighted the power of sports to bring people together, foster inclusion, and create lasting impact for our students.
