Carnegie and Crafton Elementary Sixth T he accomplishments of sixth grade pupils who attend Carnegie or Crafton elementary schools are celebrated at the end of the school year. For most, the ceremony held in the schools’ auditorium observes the end to seven years of schooling in one building and the transition to middle school in a different location. The new site will mark the first time many will ride a bus to school, eat lunch in a genuine cafeteria, change rooms for every class, and interact with peers from another school. Indeed, a big and exciting step.
