Dr. Jocelyn Idema and The Spine Institute at
Advanced Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation (SIAOR)
are pleased to announce the addition of minimally
invasive spine surgical and motion preservation
treatment options into the Ohio Valley Hospital,
part of Heritage Valley Health System. Dr. Idema
and her staff offer options for all aspects of surgical
and non-surgical spine procedures.
Dr. Idema completed her undergraduate studies
at Gettysburg College and Johns Hopkins School
of Nursing. She went on to receive her medical
degree and Orthopaedic surgical residency at the
Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
She then completed her spine surgical fellowship
at The Spine Institute of Arizona with a particular
emphasis on minimally invasive procedures and
motion preservation.
Dr. Idema has been a long-standing member of
the North American Spine Society and American
Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, as well as
a number of other spine and orthopedic societies.
In addition to her private practice at Advanced
Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation (AOR), she is on
medical staff at Advanced Surgical Hospital,
St. Clair Hospital, and Washington Hospital.
