REALTY ONE’S
KRISTINA WESLING
Finding First-
Time Home
Buyers a Place
in Pittsburgh
W
hile some Realtors dip their toes in the industry
as a hobby, Realty One’s Kristina Wesling’s been
working her way up in the real estate business
from the inside.
An experienced transaction coordinator who became a
buyer’s agent on a real estate team, Wesling worked on getting
her license while she brokered deals behind the scenes then
went out on her own with Realty One.
“This is my full-time job and I love it,” Wesling said. “I live in
Carnegie and have lived in the South Hills my entire life, so
helping others find a great home here is especially rewarding
for me. Helping people out has always been a passion of mine.”
Wesling’s strengths are custom tailored for today’s real
estate market, which is extremely competitive.
“It’s not unusual for people to encounter multiple offer
situations in this market, so I guide my clients toward being
competitive with their offers without going overboard so
that they can hit that sweet spot offer that’s most likely to be
accepted.”
Wesling also utilizes her vast network of professional
contacts with contractors and other Realtors to help facilitate
showings for her clients before homes are even officially on
the market.
“By using social media and my established relationships with
other agents, I’m able to find potential listings for my clients
before they’re known to everyone else,” she explained. “This
gives my clients a first look at a home that’s going to be sold
as soon as it’s advertised, and gives them a leg up on getting a
bid in that’s going to be accepted.”
Because she enjoys working with first-time home buyers,
employing an aggressively competitive strategy helps her
keep clients smiling as they advance in the largest investment
they’ll likely make in their lives. Working for Realty One also
helps Wesling stay ahead of the competition.
“The support here is amazing. No one is competing with
each other. We’ll cheer each other on because we’re all in it for
our clients,” she said. “I coached cheerleading for two years for
Chartiers Valley School District, and working here captures a
lot of the excitement and positive energy you see in that sport,
especially in a market as competitive as this current one. I try
to instill that energy in my clients and coach them along the
way so they can pursue their dreams with as little stress as
possible.”
In addition to coaching, Wesling is a member of the
National Association of Realtors, the Pennsylvania Association
of Realtors and the Realtors Association of Metropolitan
Pittsburgh.
