FRANK SARRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY EDUCATION FOR ALL A message from Peggy Tseng, Library Director Building Strong and Vibrant Communities – Your Local Library Matters Can you believe another year is drawing to a close? Once again, on behalf of Frank Sarris Public Library, I would like to thank the Canonsburg community for continuing to support our institution. Whether it’s checking out the latest bestsellers, hosting an event in our meeting rooms, or enjoying one of our events, we could not provide the Peggy Tseng, Library Director best possible service to the community without your involvement. 2020 is promising to be an eventful year. I’m excited to announce that Bigfoot is coming back with a new name to Frank Sarris Public Library! Bigfoot Crossing at FSPL will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2020. Join us as we welcome researchers and authors Doug Waller and Stan Gordon. Doug Waller is from the Southeastern Ohio Society for Bigfoot Investigation. Stan Gordon is scheduled to present a fascinating lecture called, “Strange Encounters of Pennsylvania.” As a winter weather reminder, when there is snow and ice on the ground and Canon-McMillan School District has issued a two-hour delay, Frank Sarris Public Library will open at noon. We do this with the safety of our patrons and staff in mind, and we thank you for your understanding. If the weather is being particularly inhospitable, but you have items to return, don’t worry. Items can be renewed via franksarrislibrary.org or call our main circulation desk at 724.745.1308 ext. 1. Have a safe and fantastic new year! I’ll see you around town.
