FRANK SARRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY EDUCATION FOR ALL A message from Peggy Tseng, Library Director Winter may be blasting our region with ice and snow, but our community’s dedication warms the Frank Sarris Public Library. I have some exciting year-end news! Thanks to a generous donation in memory of Elizabeth “Libby” Roman, her family donated “Libby’s General Store,” the library has a new playhouse. Located in the Children’s Department, the playhouse is designed as a Peggy Tseng, quaint grocery store and includes a small kitchen, post office Library Director and chalkboard. Families can also take advantage of our other programs including Madcap Mondays, Spanish Story Time, and Super Science. As a reminder, all children’s programs will be on break beginning Saturday, December 22, through January 27, 2019. In the coming year, the library will continue to provide our service area engaging programming including book clubs, trivia nights, genealogy workshops, and outreach services. The library could not do all of these without the generosity and support of this community. For that and so much more, I wish all of you a healthy and prosperous 2019.
