In fact, we have many subscribers who are the third generation of their families to attend plays at Little Lake!” Little Lake is also a leading organization in theatre education throughout the Greater Pittsburgh area. Summer camps for students interested in participating in and learning about theatre are available, and more than 90 kids from all over the Pittsburgh area enroll each year. Little Lake also offers an apprentice program for high school students that is the only one of its kind in the Pittsburgh region, and gives high school students hands-on experiences in all aspects of theatre. Currently, there are 24 students enrolled in this program. Additionally, Little Lake Theatre is very active throughout the community. Many outreach opportunities are available, from free and discounted tickets to educational performances to classes and workshops for the community.
