NORTH STRABANE TOWNSHIP POLICE DEPARTMENT
The North Strabane Township Police Department recently hired
Officer William Goodwin as a part time police officer . Officer Goodwin studied criminology at California University of Pennsylvania , where he received his Bachelors of Science . He then attended the Municipal Police Academy at Indiana University of Pennsylvania . After graduating , he was hired at the Charleroi Regional Police Department as a part time officer , and then as a full time officer . Officer Goodwin spent 6 years at that department , being a K9 Handler for three of those years . During his time as the K9 Handler , he had the pleasure of working with his best friend , K9 Blitz .
In addition to working part time in North Strabane Township , Officer Goodwin is currently employed by South Strabane Township as a full time police officer . He enjoys working in both communities and meeting new people . When Officer Goodwin is not working , he enjoys hanging out with his dogs and spending time with his family .
Welcome back ! Officer Logan Hradecky was deployed overseas , serving with the 378th Air Expeditionary Wing Security Forces Squadron as a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force . He served in an administrative role and was part of the Plans and Programs function .
Officer Hradecky was the School Resource Officer at Wylandville Elementary School for 4 years . He will now be taking his career in a new direction and will be joining A Platoon on patrol . orth Strabane NORTH STRABANE TOWNSHIP NEWS
