North Strabane Township Fire Department North Strabane Township Fire Department Hires Additional Firemen Brad Catto grew up in the Pittsburgh area and graduated from CCAC with a Paramedic Degree. After completion of college and fire school, Brad and his wife moved to Myrtle Beach to pursue a career Firefighter/Paramedic position. While serving for the Murrells Inlet Garden City Fire Department, Brad attended the Myrtle Beach and South Carolina Fire Academies. His experience and knowledge contributed to his decision to move his family back home to North Strabane Township for prospective career opportunities. On his off time, Brad enjoys spending time with his son, Grayson, playing with his Golden Retriever, and spending time with his wife and his recently born daughter, Avery. Brad started with the North Strabane Township Fire Department in 2016, and looks forward to a rewarding and successful career. David Fair grew up in Bethel Park and graduated from Bethel Park High School in 2006. Dave always knew he wanted to pursue a career that enabled him to make a positive impact on others. During his time in high school, he was introduced to the fire service and knew that becoming a firefighter was his career path. After high school, Dave attended Allegheny County Fire Academy and served as a Firefighter/EMT in Bethel Park for eleven years. Dave also attended Community College of Allegheny County where he obtained an Associate’s Degree in Fire Science Administration. In addition, Dave currently holds national and state certifications including Firefighter 1-2, Emergency Medical Technician, Class-B Commercial Driver’s License, Basic Vehicle Rescue Technician, Hazardous Materials Awareness, Fire Instructor 1, Fire Inspector 1-2, and Plans Examiner 1-2. In his free time, Dave enjoys fishing, snowboarding, kayaking and white water rafting. Dave is honored to be a part of such a great community and looks forward to serving the residents of North Strabane and surrounding communities for many years to come. 54 Canon-Mac
