Frank Sarris Public Library is buzzing with activity this season thanks to our upcoming events, programs, and clubs.
We can guarantee you’ ll be excited about the upcoming programs at your local library. Our library will be hosting beekeeper and entertainer Howard Mincone, who will give a presentation on bees, hives, honey, and more. This free event is scheduled for 11 a. m. on March 28.
We’ re also pleased to bring back Bigfoot Crossing on April 18 at 11 a. m. Doug Waller from the Southeastern Ohio Society of Bigfoot Investigations will once again share his insights on this mysterious phenomenon.
Grab your magnifying glass and prepare to test your detection skills against the most notorious( fictional) criminals of the era. Our newest book club, Mystery Club, focuses on mysteries from recent bestsellers to classic capers. Mystery Club meets on the second Friday of each month at 4:30 p. m.
We also invite you to explore our other book clubs, including FSPL Book Club, FSPL Comic Book Club, and Silent Book Club. Each of these also meets monthly.
Get ready for an adventure with our Summer Reading Camp, themed around this year’ s slogan,“ Unearth a Story.” Children ages 5 – 9 are welcome to sign up.
The camp runs for four weeks, from July 6 to July 31. Registration forms are available online at franksarrislibrary. org and at the Circulation Desk. Full-day camp registration is now open at $ 150 per week. Registration for morning or afternoon sessions only begins on April 1 at $ 100 per week. Completed forms and payment are due upon registration.
