Frank Sarris Public Library is committed to community service , fundraising and advocacy , quality library services , and technology and innovation .
• Community Service – Frank Sarris Public Library is dedicated to providing the community with services and programs that not merely reflect the wants and needs of its patrons , but also enhance and contribute to the development of the community .
• Fundraising and Advocacy – Frank Sarris Public Library depends on sustainability of resources through prudent stewardship of finances and partnerships that enrich services , expand outreach , and leverage public investment through private support .
• Quality Library Services – Frank Sarris Public Library provides services and programs that promote discovery , reading , learning and teaching through a wide variety of media and methods .
• Technology and Innovation – Frank Sarris Public Library provides access to and training in innovative technology , electronic resources and digital information .
These principles form a foundation for our future plans and initiatives , and ensure that the library is consistently striving for excellence and will continue making a difference in the lives of the people we serve .
The achievements highlighted in this report demonstrate the work we do to enhance the library ’ s value to the community . Our accomplishments are the tangible result of the dedication of many : the library staff , our volunteers , Board of Trustees , Friends of the Library , our local funders and governing bodies , and all the members of the public who support our initiatives year after year . We offer our deepest thanks to the hundreds of individuals who invest in our library ’ s future by supporting its mission of free and open access to resources , programs and services for the personal enrichment , education and enjoyment of everyone .

Lego Club Mondays at 5pm Children in grades K-8 collaborate with other Master Builders on their own designs or special building challenges .
Spanish Story Time Tuesdays at 11:15am ( ending on 5 / 9 ) Preschool children can join Ms . Noreen for story time favorites – stories and songs – in Spanish . Children will also have fun learning common Spanish words . Email questions to Ms . Noreen at npoploski @ franksarrislibrary . org .
Family Night Tuesdays at 6:30pm ( ending on 5 / 23 ; beginning again on 6 / 20 ) Evening Story Hour for all ages — offers theme stories , games , and activities to share . Please check the Events page on our website for weekly themes .
