North Strabane Township Building and Expanding

Over the past several years North Strabane has undertaken various building projects to better accommodate our residents, volunteers, first responders and staff.

The first project to be completed was the addition of Fire Station # 2 in the Eighty-Four, PA section of the Township. This building has allowed the Township to provide improved response times to this newly expanding section of North Strabane. The building allows both career and volunteer firefighters to serve night shifts in four dorm rooms. While the offices provide work space for the department. Ambulance and Chair EMS plans to place apparatus at this location in the future. This building also houses a meeting room with a capacity of 100 persons. With the opening of the Public Safety Building on Route 19 this meeting room will be able to be made available to community groups for rent.
After some bumps along the way, the Public Safety Building is open along Route 19 at the former location of the Fire Department. This building serves as headquarters for the Township’ s Police Department, Fire Department,
