As Summer comes to an end , we look forward to Fall with thanks and gratitude for the many opportunities that Canonsburg Town Park provides for our community .
After the past few years , we are finally seeing a return to more normal times . Families are leaving the confines of indoors and enjoying the great outdoors . The new amenities and activities now featured in the park allow folks to engage in exercise and socialization , both critical to our overall
health and development .
Rain or shine , Canonsburg Town Park was filled with summer fun . Swimming , skateboarding , pickleball games , dog walking , basketball and softball games , corn hole , concerts , picnics and movies , were all enjoyed throughout
50 CANON-MAC the season . In addition , the 3rd Annual Rusty Gold Rib Cook Off was held at CTP for the first time , welcoming hundreds of visitors to the park for great food and entertainment .
As we look forward to this fall , we encourage you to continue to explore the many new features of the park . Paved walking paths , permanent corn hole games , newly installed fitness clusters and a beautiful new waterfall , are just a few of the new amenities that you ’ ll want to enjoy .
Looking ahead to 2023 , there are many exciting plans in place for another spectacular year . Our beloved park will be celebrating its 100th birthday and planning has begun for a Centennial Celebration like no other !
