With the start of a new season, your community library has a whole new lineup of children’ s programs as of Monday, September 10. We are offering children’ s programs 6 days a week for infants and up. You will find your old favorites like Wiggles and Giggles and Toddler Tales and new offerings like Yoga Story Time to Super Science, just to name a few. Be sure to check out the event listing. Surely, we have something to delight everyone.
As you know, a strong public library is vital to the success of economic development and social engagement in your communities, so I wanted to acknowledge several of our
Northwest Bank Charitable Foundation donated children’ s backpacks to support our iLearn to Read Kindergarten Initiative.

Slovenia Savings and Loan Association of Canonsburg donated funding to bring the Tamburitzans to Canon- McMillan High School on September 22 at 7 p. m. Tickets are $ 20 for general admission. All proceeds benefit the Frank Sarris Public Library of Canonsburg.

Teen Advisory Board comprised of students in grades 7-12 meet to plan, organize and lead activities that will engage and benefit members of the community. New members welcome. Tuesday, 9 / 4, 6 – 7 p. m.
Fiction Book Club will be discussing“ Home Again” by Kristin Hannah on Wednesday, 9 / 12, Noon.
Teen Writers’ Club( grades 7 – 12) will meet to write, share and support each other through the creative process. Monday, 9 / 17, 6 – 7 p. m.
