Elected to Prestigious
Position with Global
Environmental Group
The Allegheny County Health Department is
pleased to announce that Jayme Graham of the
health department’s Air Quality Program has
been elected to the board of directors of the Air
& Waste Management Association.
“We congratulate Ms. Graham and take
pride in her election to this prestigious position
with the premier worldwide organization for
environmental professionals,” said Health
Director Dr. Karen Hacker.
A&WMA is headquartered in Pittsburgh and
has 5,500 members in 57 countries, including
engineers, lawyers, scientists, administrators,
plant managers and other environmental
decision-makers. The group works to enhance
global knowledge and expertise by leading a
balanced discussion on environmental issues
while providing an extensive network for
implementing effective business solutions.
Graham is a resident of Baldwin Borough
and a longtime health department employee,
serving in the Air Quality Program for over
32 years. She is currently manager of the Air
Quality Planning Section.
Holiday Cookie/Treat,
Swap & Social – Tuesday

Choose your favorite cookie, cake or candy
recipe, make enough to share, and then
come try out new sweets and treats while
socializing with your neighbors. This is a great
opportunity to find new holiday recipes, and
even share baking tips and tricks to make
sure your holiday treats come out perfectly.
Participants must bring at least 4 dozen treats
to share and swap with others, and a copy of
their recipe to hand out. Space is limited so
