SPECIAL EVENTS THIS WINTER AT BRENTWOOD LIBRARY :

FOR ADULTS Adult Trivia Night – Saturday , December 16th @ 6:30 PM : Form a team , and come in and test your knowledge on a variety of topics . Snacks provided , as well as a prize for the winning team members . Please register for this event .

Holiday Movie Double Feature — Monday , December 18th @ 2:00 PM : Come join us for a viewing of two wonderful holiday classics with friends . Refreshments provided .

8th Annual Cookie Exchange — Tuesday , December 19th @ 6:30 PM : This is a great way to make an impressive cookie platter for all of your holiday entertaining ! Come with 6 dozen of the same kind of cookies . At 6:45 PM , we ' ll begin building our trays with a variety of goodies . Oh , and we ' ll sample a few , too ! Holiday Bingo — Thursday , December 21st @ 2:00 PM : Join us for our FREE festive Bingo ! Everyone goes home with a prize this month . Festive snacks and drinks will be served . No registration required . Oh , what a thrill to yell ... ho , ho , ho !... or BINGO !

VITA Tax Help — We will begin scheduling appointments on Tuesday , January 8th @ 10:00 AM : VITA ( Volunteer Income Tax Assistance ) trained volunteers will offer free drop off service to qualified individuals on Saturdays in February , March , and the 1st Saturday in April . Oscar Nominated Movies — every Sunday in February and Sunday , March 2nd @ 1:00 PM : Calling all movie buffs ! We ’ ll be watching Oscar nominated films leading up our Oscars viewing party on Sunday , March 10th . Coffee and cold drinks will be served at each showing . Come join us to see some great movies !

FOR KIDS Family Christmas Party — Friday , December 8th @ 6:30 PM : Please

join us for an evening of festive family fun ! We will celebrate the holiday season with songs , a craft , cookie decorating , and a visit from Santa ! Registration is required .

Brentwood Library will be on a program break from December 11th-January 7th . All regular winter programming will begin on Monday , January 8th , and will continue through the season .

REGULAR PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN : Most of these programs occur on a weekly basis . Please check our calendar to see specific dates . Musical Monday and Toddler Tales are also recorded and posted to our YouTube channel , so if you miss a week , no problem ! You can watch it later at your convenience .

0-5 years – Mondays @ 11:00 AM — Musical Monday : A festive time of singing , doing motions , playing instruments , and dancing . Ages 0-18 months – Thursdays @ 10:00 AM — Book Babies : A sweet story time with rhymes , songs , books , and more ! Ages 18 months-3 years — Thursdays @ 11:00 AM — Toddler Tales : An interactive , action packed
