WHITEHALL PUBLIC LIBRARY TOOLS HELP MAKE LEARNING AN ADVENTURE
Ms. Anderson’ s first-grade class at Whitehall Elementary School recently explored ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia using Classroom Book Bundles provided by the Whitehall Public Library. Working in pairs and small groups, students used nonfiction research books to discover pyramids, rivers, and early civilizations— even comparing the two cultures independently. MINI-THON RAISES OVER $ 27,000 TO FIGHT CHILDHOOD CANCER
Baldwin High School’ s annual Mini-THON brought students together under the theme Candy Crushing Cancer for a night of ping pong, dodgeball, laser tag, and more. The student-run event raised an outstanding $ 27,039.64 for the Four Diamonds Fund, which supports pediatric cancer research and families facing childhood cancer.

STEEL CENTER STUDENTS SHARE CAREER PERSPECTIVES
Eight Baldwin High School students from Steel Center visited R. A. Lutz Elementary in March to introduce fourth-graders to their career pathways. Through hands-on activities— including fondant rose-making, exploring computer components, and veterinary tools— students showcased fields ranging from cosmetology to cybersecurity. It was an engaging experience that inspired our youngest learners to dream big!
