LIBRARY BOARD IS RECRUITING NEW MEMBERS The Brentwood Library Board is seeking additional members who reflect the diversity of the community . Applicants must be Brentwood residents . As interested , please fill out the prospective board member form on the library website , under library info , scroll to board of trustees . LIBRARY BOOK SALE ! Open Saturdays between 10 AM – 2 PM . Great deals on gently used books . Can ’ t make it that day ? Come in and shop any time the library is open . Free Lunch Distribution , Mondays and Thursdays from 12 noon - 1 PM , June 10th through August 8th - For youth ages 18 and under . HOT lunches will be served and eaten in the library . First come , first served . Also , on Tuesdays and Fridays we ’ ll have free ingredients out to make your own peanut butter and jelly sandwiches .

FOR ALL AGES Summer Learning Kickoff Party – Friday , June 14th @ 6:30 PM : Come sign up for Summer Learning , dance to our upbeat tunes , and eat up an ice cream sundae ! Please register .

Mid-Summer Bash – Friday , July 26th @ 7:00 PM : Come one , come all to our Mid- Summer Bash ! There will be music , snacks , & games ! More details to follow .

FOR CHILDREN Kid ’ s Lounge – Thursday , June 27th , July 11th , July 25th & August 8th from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM : Come and hangout with us !! There will be gaming and LEGOS !! This is for children in grades K-8th .

I Survived – Friday , June 21st @ 2:00 PM : Are you a fan of disaster stories ? Do you wonder if you have what it takes to survive in a crisis ? Come test your survival skills by completing various STEAM challenges based on the “ I Survived ” series by Lauren Tarshis . This program is designed for children ages 7 – 10 . Light refreshments will be provided .

Bug Out : Camping Adventure - Thursday , August 1st @ 3:00 PM : Bug Enthusiast , Mary Gall , will be here to teach us all about some of her favorite creepy crawlies . There will be all kinds of different types of bugs to pet and hold . We will also decorate bug jars and enjoy a tasty snack ! This program is for students in grades K- 5th .

Science in the Summer - Tuesday , August 6th - Friday , August 9th @ 3:00 PM : This is a four-day workshop that runs for an
