Planning the Journey of a Highlander aldwin-Whitehall BALDWIN-WHITEHALL SCHOOL DISTRICT NEWS
Dear Friends and Families of Baldwin-Whitehall ,
We know that every student we serve at Baldwin-Whitehall is on their own personal journey of learning . We call it the Journey of a Highlander . And while it may look different for each student based on their own needs and experiences , the supports we put in place are designed to help every student ’ s journey succeed .
One way we support the Journey of a Highlander is by investing in our facilities . From opening our newest school at R . A . Lutz Elementary to updating the plans for renovation at J . E . Harrison Middle School , this year has proven that our District is committed to operating safe , stateof-the-art facilities for students at every step of their learning journey .
Another way we support the Journey of a Highlander is by developing and expanding key programs . While our curriculum helps students grow academically , our additional programs also help them grow as people . This includes individualizing special education , prioritizing student mental health , conducting District-wide safety drills , volunteering with the Special Olympics , preparing seniors for life after graduation , and much more .
Perhaps the most important way we support the Journey of a Highlander is by investing in our people . From our faculty and administration to our counselors , bus drivers , custodians , and cafeteria
