PUBLIC WORKS,
please keep in mind,
With the summer season approaching and the grass and shrubs begin to grow, we are now in the lawn mowing season; we ask that
you please don’t blow grass onto the sidewalks or roadway when maintaining your property. We request you sweep and cleanup after
mowing and trimming to keep your neighborhood looking good. After all, you took the time to cut the grass, make it be neat and clean,
so why not complete the job and have your property look outstanding. It makes for a nice neighborhood and represents your character
as a property owner or tenant. Consider using natural remedies to combat weeds and insects. We are trying to reduce the amount of
organics, pesticides, and chemicals from entering our storm system which ends up in local streams. This is a requirement to obtain the
MS4 permit.
Republic Waste Services, the recycler and waste hauler for the Borough, will not pick up electronics, especially televisions. This is
mandated by the Department of Environment Protection (DEP). When considering a new purchase of a television or electronics, ask the
salesperson to take the old TV away to have it recycled. Goodwill will take electronics or consider E-Loop. Use your computers to find the
nearest location.
Have a good summer!

Do you participate in the Annual Subscription Drive for the Brentwood EMS? It is a bargain you won’t get anywhere else for the
yearly donation. As you know, medical care and medicine is very expensive; your Brentwood EMS yearly subscription provides the best
quality patient care and medical supplies for the residents during an emergency situation while being transported in an ambulance.
If you already have insurance, you may not be fully covered and end up with a bill for services over and above your insurance policy. It
is with confidence that you subscribe and protect your loved one with the security of no additional costs when using the Brentwood
Emergency Service. By subscribing to the EMS annual drive, your donation is a way to assist in the cost of medical supplies during
emergencies. Please subscribe today. If you have any questions or did not receive a subscription packet contact our office at 412-8848740.
Your Brentwood Emergency Medical Service is staffed with 40 active members who are highly qualified Paramedics and Emergency
Medical Technicians that are available at a moments notice in your time of need 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
