We request you sweep and cleanup after mowing and trimming to keep your neighborhood looking good. After all, you took the time to cut the grass, make it be neat and clean, so why not complete the job and have your property look outstanding. It makes for a nice neighborhood and represents your character as a property owner or tenant. Consider using natural remedies to combat weeds and insects. We are trying to reduce the amount of organics, pesticides, and chemicals from entering our storm system which ends up in local streams. This is a requirement to obtain the MS4 permit. Republic Waste Services, the recycler and waste hauler for the Borough, will not pick up electronics, especially televisions. This is mandated by the Department of Environment Protection (DEP). When considering a new purchase of a television or electronics, ask the salesperson to take the old TV away to have it recycled. Goodwill will take electronics or consider E-Loop. Use your computers to find the nearest location. Have a good summer!
