Ordinances that Impact Baldwin Residents

All Borough residents are required to recycle.
Recycle stickers are available at the Borough Office to place on garbage bins. We encourage bins rather than recycling with plastic bags. If you are an apartment resident and are not offered recycling, please contact the Borough.

Smoking is prohibited in public parks and recreation areas of Baldwin Borough
This includes baseball, softball, and soccer fields

All bulk containers, which includes storage devices, dumpsters, and bagsters must have permit. The bulk container may not be placed on public property, which includes roads and streets. The area around the bulk container must be debris free.
Bulk container permits are free. The application is found online or at the Borough Office.

The open burning of wood, logs, brush, and / or stumps are only permitted in an approved outdoor rated fireplace or fire pit. The wood must be clean and dry without treatment or unpleasant odor. Burning of waste( building supplies, garbage, grass, leaves) is prohibited. The fire must be more than 15 feet away from the nearest property line.
