EVERYTHING SCOTTISH!
Many area residents have Scottish roots that run deep. You can celebrate that heritage at Pittsburgh’ s Tartan Day event on Saturday, April 11, at the Bethel Presbyterian Church in Bethel Park.
It is sponsored by the St. Andrews Society of Pittsburgh and this year will also mark the 250th anniversary of the United States of America, plus the 250th anniversary of Bethel Presbyterian Church.
The fun begins at 10 a. m. and runs until 4:30 p. m., with free admission and parking. There will be many vendors selling Scottish memorabilia, information on the clans of Scotland, workshops, great food, raffles, entertainment, and of course, bagpipers!
The proceeds from the event benefit the St. Andrew’ s Society Scholarship Fund. For more information, visit standrewspittsburgh. org. n
