Around Brentwood

Winter Nears Its End, Spring Is on the Horizon
As winter begins to loosen its grip on Brentwood, we can start looking ahead to longer days and a new season in our parks and facilities. While colder months keep us indoors, they are busy ones for the Parks and Recreation Department as we prepare for spring.

From the Desk of parks & recreation

Throughout the winter, staff focus on planning, maintenance, and evaluation. Equipment is inspected, facilities are reviewed, and schedules are developed to ensure programs and public spaces are ready to welcome the community.
As temperatures rise, fields reopen, playgrounds fill with families, and seasonal programs return. Spring is an important time to bring people together, encourage outdoor activity, and enhance quality of life in Brentwood.
We encourage residents to watch for upcoming program announcements, facility updates, and volunteer opportunities. Community involvement plays a vital role in our success, and we appreciate the continued support of our residents.
On behalf of the Parks and Recreation Department, thank you for your patience during the winter months. We look forward to seeing everyone back outdoors.
