During the recent ribbon cutting celebrating the reopening of the Brentwood Civic and Recreation Center, Borough officials were pleased to share additional good news for Brentwood Park.
Brentwood Borough has received official notice of a $ 160,000 grant award through the Allegheny County Gaming Economic Development and Tourism Fund for the Brentwood Park Parking Lot Improvements Project. The project will include milling and repaving of the parking lot, along with targeted stormwater improvements to enhance safety, drainage, and long-term durability. The total estimated project cost is approximately $ 430,000, with a required local match incorporated into the Borough’ s capital planning efforts.
The Borough extends its sincere thanks to State Rep. Jessica Benham, State Senator Nick Pisciottano, and
Allegheny County officials for their continued support and advocacy on behalf of the Brentwood community.
As the Civic and Recreation Center welcomes residents back for programs, events, and gatherings, these improvements will help ensure safe and
convenient access to Brentwood Park. Residents are encouraged to stop by, explore the newly reopened Center, and enjoy all that the park has to offer.
