Park Preparation and Maintenance
With warmer weather on the horizon, our team is hard at work preparing Brentwood’ s parks for the busy months ahead. From cleaning and maintaining playgrounds to reseeding grass and inspecting sports fields, we are ensuring that our public spaces are ready for residents to enjoy.
Honoring Our Heroes with Military Banners
Each spring, we take great pride in hanging military banners throughout the borough. These banners serve as a heartfelt tribute to those who have served our country, and we are proud to help keep this tradition alive. If you are out and about this Memorial Day, take a moment to admire the banners and remember the sacrifices of our community’ s heroes.
Street Sweeping and Stormwater Management Our street sweeper is officially out of hibernation! Throughout the season, we will be sweeping roads to keep debris off our streets and out of our storm drains. This process is essential to maintaining compliance with our MS4 Permit and protecting our local waterways from pollutants. If you see the sweeper in your neighborhood, please remember to park in your driveway whenever possible to help us complete this work efficiently.
Facility and Equipment Updates
Our department is also focused on behind-the-scenes efforts to keep everything running smoothly. This includes routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment, as well as inspections and repairs at borough facilities. From sprucing up building exteriors to addressing small repairs, these tasks ensure that Brentwood remains a clean and functional community for everyone.
Looking to the Future As always, Brentwood Public Works is committed to serving the borough with integrity, efficiency, and a focus on improvement. Whether it is maintaining public spaces, repairing infrastructure, or preparing for future projects, our goal is to ensure that Brentwood remains a beautiful and safe place to live, work, and play.
We look forward to all that spring has to offer— blooming flowers, outdoor activities, and lively parks. Our team is dedicated to keeping Brentwood beautiful and ready for everyone to enjoy throughout the season.
Here’ s to a wonderful spring season!
