Before it was bought by brothers Jack and Jim Lokay and named Lokay Lanes in 2000, the existing bowling alley was a mainstay in Monroeville— and one of the filming locations for Bill Murray’ s“ Kingpin.” The Lokay family turned it into the family entertainment center that it is today, with league bowling as well as cosmic bowling and birthday parties.

Main Bowling Center is a fan favorite and has been named the best bowling alley in the area by Trib Live’ s Best of the Best awards annually since 2007. The facility features 16 polished lanes with AMF-brand pinsetters and automatic scoring systems. It is a destination for competitive leagues, family fun, birthday parties and cosmic bowling. The snack bar offers pizza, burgers, subs and more.

Miracle Lanes is another old standby that’ s been around for decades. It offers different bowling specials each day of the week, a snack bar and birthday party packages. There is also league and open play available.
Nesbit’ s Lanes

Owned and operated by the Nesbit family since 1947, Nesbit’ s Lanes is one of the oldest bowling alleys in the area. It hosts leagues and tournaments for all ages, plus open bowling and birthday parties for casual bowlers. Local children love to participate in the after-school bowling program. Each 12-week session includes after-school bus transportation and a meal once a week.
