Jump Start Sports provides quality youth sports programs by utilizing the perfect combination of an instructional and recreational approach to teaching !
Jump Start Sports Programs are fun-oriented and highly instructional . The relaxed atmosphere enables participants to learn , grow and make friends while learning fundamentals of the sport . Jump Start Sports focuses on children learning proper sportsmanship and understanding the importance of recreational game play and the benefits of physical activity ! We utilize innovative drills and games to help teach as well as to make the programs more fun for children .
DEK HOCKEY
Brentwood Park - Dek Hockey Rink Tuesdays , April 23 rd to May 28 th Ages : 6-8 , 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm Ages : 9-11 , 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm Six Week Program - $ 90 Participants have a blast while learning hockey fundamentals and playing games . Players are taught forehand and backhand passing and trapping , stick handling , shooting , defending , and goalkeeping . They then play fun-oriented , low-competition games to help them learn team concepts . Each participant receives a shirt and a medal .
Brentwood Park - Basketball Court Wednesdays , April 24 th to May 29 th Ages : 3-5 , 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm Ages : 6-9 , 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm Six Week Program - $ 90 Instruction focuses on the most basic aspects of dribbling , passing , shooting , rebounding , and defense . Creative and fun drills are utilized toward that end . Then participants apply what they have learned in low competition games . Each participant receives a shirt and a medal . cKeesport rentwood

Brentwood Park - Stadium Field Fridays , April 26 th to May 31 st * Ages 2 + 3 , 5:30 pm – 6:00 pm Ages : 4-6 , 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm Ages : 7-9 , 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm Six Week Program - $ 90 *[ 2 + 3 yr . olds - $ 45 ] Participants have fun and learn the basics of soccer . Players learn , passing , trapping , shooting , defending and positioning . Each session consists of instruction in all aspects of the game , participating in fun drills designed to teach skills , and low-key , non-competitive scrimmages . Each participant receives a shirt and a medal .
