OFFICIALS OF THE BOROUGH OF BALDWIN 2020 The Borough is governed by seven elected Council members and a Mayor. The Mayor is elected for a 4-year term; council members are elected for 4-year overlapping terms. There are no term limits in Baldwin. David Depretis Mayor [email protected] From the Borough Manager’s Desk: Spring is the time for sprucing up and getting rid of some old things. We here at the Borough are no different. There are some exciting projects underway already within our parks. Elm Leaf Park at the Borough building is getting a “spring cleaning” as we are installing new basketball courts, sidewalks and trails along with handicapped accessible parking right in front of the pool entrance. All this is anticipated to be completed by late May. Colewood Park will be getting a new restroom and small pavilion shelter attached to the restroom. Finally, Sanda Park will be getting a fresh look this spring/summer too. In that same spirit of “sprucing up”, the Borough will be rolling out new recycling containers to all residents sometime in Mid to late April for use beginning May 1! More details will be provided in late March. Visit www.baldwinborough.org for more detailed instructions on our home page at that time. Additionally, the recycling bin manufacture (Toter) will be attaching use instructions to each bin. Baldwin’s spring work will roll right into the busy summer time with many other exciting things to come. I hope everyone’s spring is a warm and sunny one.
