Mystery Book – Mystery/thriller book club that meets on a Tuesday afternoon every six weeks. 1st week of the month is Building Club – fun with LEGO, Magna Tiles, and Lincoln Logs! Novel Book Club – Fiction book club that meets at 6:30 pm every six weeks on a Monday. 2nd and 4th weeks of the month are Kid’s Club – crafts, games, science, and more! FOR TEENS: 3rd week of the month is Hanging Out with Oliver Dog – get ready to read to our fury therapy-certified dog friend, Oliver! While you’re waiting for your turn, make crafts and play games. Teen events happen every Friday after school! Join us at 3 pm for things like playing games in our Rec Room, noshing from our food bar during Chat & Chew, watching movies, or playing group games with your friends. Plus sometimes we offer special events like Marvel Day on March 8th! FOR CHILDREN: Ages 0-18 months – Thursdays at 10 am – Book Babies, a sweet story time with rhymes, songs, books, and more! Ages 18 months-3 years – Thursdays at 11 am – Toddler Tales, an active and interactive story time that includes making a craft and/ or free play. Ages 3 -5 years – Tuesdays at 10:30 am – Let’s Learn! Parents drop off their children for this hour-long program that’s aimed at readying them for Kindergarten. Ages 0-5 years – Mondays at 11 am – Musical Monday, a festive time of singing, doing motions, playing instruments, and dancing. Grades K-5 – Wednesdays at 3:30 pm – Elementary School Fun! Evening Family Story Times – 2nd Wednesday of each month @ 6:30 pm – great for families with children ages 1-7, each story time is based on a season/holiday inspired theme and includes a craft. In response to the concerns of our residents, in 2018, the Borough declined to renew the agreement with the former provider of its online sewer bill payment system. For the last year, Brentwood has temporarily provided access to the X-Press Pay tool; this module allowed us to continue to process credit card transactions as we searched for a more permanent solution. In January 2019, the Borough signed a contract with Pennsylvania-based Diversified Technologies, and, no later than this June, an enhanced electronic payment system will be available to customers.
