As part of this event, the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and the Pennsylvania Waste Industries Association will sponsor “Let’s Pick It Up PA” – every day from April 16 to May 9. During the Pick It Up PA days, registered events will be able to take the trash collected during their cleanup to participating landfills for reduced or free disposal. JOIN THE 2016 GREAT AMERICAN CLEANUP OF PA NOW THROUGH MAY 31 The 2016 Great American Cleanup of PA began March 1 and runs through May 31. During this period, registered events can get trash bags, gloves and safety vests from PennDOT district offices, as supplies last. Events include litter cleanups, illegal dump cleanups, beautification projects, special EVENTS AT THE BALDWIN BOROUGH PUBLIC LIBRARY Reading with Rabbits Spring is right around the corner, and the rabbits are all ears! Visit the library and read to the Animal Friends rabbits! Volunteers will give you tips on caring for and feeding rabbits as well as other helpful information. There will also be stories and an activity. Because visits are done on a volunteer basis, all participants are asked to bring along one item from the Animal Friends Supply Drive list which can be found on the library's website. Bouncing Babies and Books This storytime, for babies birth-24 months, will include a book, lots of singing, some musical instruments, and a lot of fun for you and your baby!
